1.
Update: no damage to the film at all! Also, I had forgotten that it was actually B&W film. heh.

 2. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I thought my film might have been jammed and decided I needed to open up the back and check. I'm about 30 frames into a 36 roll. I went to a fairly dark room in my apartment, open the back just a little bit, quickly tapped the film to check it was placed properly, and then closed it back up. It's 400 film so I know it's a bit more light sensitive. Are these frames gonna be ruined or only a tad exposed/foggy? I can't imagine I did that much damage, but now I'm regretting ok opening it, hindsight being 20/20.
