  7. My hope is that film will see a revival similar to vinyl and vacuum tubes. I still use both. Analog audio is now a firm specialty market. I hope that film and film cameras will develop into a firm specialty market.

  12. The reason I have stayed with the Nikon F mount is I have a choice of either Nikon or Zeiss Lenses. The Nikon AIS lenses are desirable when I want good quality with light weight and small size. The new Zeiss lenses have an aperture ring making them usable on older Nikon cameras such as the FM2n and are chipped for use on new cameras such as the F6. The are larger and heavier but offer excellent image quality. The Zeiss are manual focus which suits my style of photography.

  16. I have been doing film photography for 50 years. For the last ten years I shot mostly digital, with an occasional roll of slide film because I enjoy projecting slides. Then in November 2015 I decided to try black and white film and have enjoyed it since then. I don't think either medium is better, but I may be a better black and white film photographer. The probable reason is I learned black and white film when I was in my 20's and have use it longer.
  17. I just checked B and H's web site and they are now are shipping black and white chemicals. I did not check color chemicals. This may explain why my last B&H order was shipped Fed Ex.
  18. Fog on Mississippi River. FM2n, Milvus 50, medium yellow filter, FP4+.
