Taken with a Maxxum 7, 28-85mm lens, exposure: 1/125th @ f/9, fuji

Thanks Margaret for your comments. Those are not buildings in the foreground. They are rocks - boulders. They do look like buildings now that you mention it ... This was a classic straight on shot taken from the trail to the base of Bridalveil Falls. I was completely drenched from the spray, and had all I could do to protect the camera from getting wet. It was worth it though! I'm so glad you noticed the subtle second rainbow. It is just a hint, but it is definitely there. Shot was taken at about 6:10 pm.

A view of Bridal Falls, Yosemite National Park. Fuji Reala rated at
80. It was a bit of a challenge to get this shot without getting
soaked in the process! No manipulation or color enhancement of any
kind. Just a straight scan from a print.

This photo is timeless ... it caught my eye immediately. The simple lighting makes this photo. Congratulations.

Wonderful composition and technical details. Great color saturation. Simply stunning.

Too much wasted space at the bottom. Lose about 1/3 of the bottom of the photo and it would make a much better impact. Otherwise, very nice shot.
-
Very nicely framed and great colors too! More snow would have been nice, but you can't exactly control nature.

Wonderful photo - excellent composition, brilliant colors and great use of DOF.

the blade of grass popping through the bottom flower is disturbing to my eye as well as the few petals that were cut off. Colors are nice, I think maybe it would have been better with a larger aperture to blur out some of that background.
-
Nice composition - very well executed. I love the way the background appears to be slightly foggy, while the fisherman and boat are crisp. Evokes a very serene mood for me.

truly wonderful shot -- what else can be said?

There can never be too many flower shots in my opinion. Don't stop taking flower photos just because someone has done the shot before. Shoot because you enjoy the beauty of flowers - and most importantly, shoot to please yourself. I do!

This is my home territory - I grew up just up the street from here. Nice job capturing this image.

Very Cool Photo! I saw the first one you posted. I like this one with the wine better. It's got more punch to it. Try as I might, I can't do the balancing act...

Simply Wonderful! Good job

Until Frank mentioned 'triple exposure', I didn't realize that's what it is. Outstanding - I really like it!
-
Nice shot - only thing that spoils it a little is the overexposed right side. Still, I really like how you've captured it.

Hasn't this image been posted for critique a couple of times before?

You certainly captured the moment! Great photo.

Took this in Baxter State Park - Maine. I was really taken by the
way the light was shining through the trees.
