1. Thanks for all the advices. I think getting a new one is the option .
 2. Hey guys. I've got my girlfriend into film photography so far, we had been enjoying taking pics all good it was perfectly working camera, but one day I suddenly dropped bag where the camera was from like 40cm height and since then we have hard time functioning of his camera. The issue is that shutter release button is unresponsive 90% of the time, it just won't take picture and only 1 out of 10 press on it would take a picture. Also sometimes when it does the mirror stuck (only sometimes) and it only release when some time goes or I just have to restart the camera. It's not a battery issue for sure, cause we tried few new batteries and no luck. Also in addition the red display in viewfinder is also messy and shows wrong information and it almost can't be read. Also that display sometimes shows up sometimes not . I am pretty confused and not sure what to do. Please help. Thank you

 4.
Charles Rice
which part exactly do you think needs repairment or someting?

 5.
Update for my topic after reviewing results from the third film for this camera.
Terrible result!! Some of the pictures are very dark (it was pretty sunlight and light meter in the center always!!), which i don't understand. Also i got one red photo :( i saved all the options so i will try now to give you the results so some of you may know what happened.
1. http://s31.postimg.org/hsph57vhn/r001_001.jpg
ISO 400 SHUTTER 60 F STOP 4 (it's on balcony, almost sunset time = not direct sun)
2. http://s31.postimg.org/uhqfhtkxn/r001_003.jpg
ISO 400 SHUTTER 60 F 1/8 (photo was taken at home with good house light)
3. http://s31.postimg.org/ek03axmwb/r001_004.jpg
F STOP 11 SHUTTER 500 ISO 400 (it's midday, not direct sun overall good lighting condition)
4. http://s31.postimg.org/z7u5bvlaz/r001_005.jpg
F stop 16 shutter 1000 ISO 200 (maybe it's ISO problem because it's probably 400 ISO film - same lighting as previous)
5. http://s32.postimg.org/n9p8kgjk5/r001_007.jpg
F STOP 11 shutter 500 ISO 400 (good lighting, not direct sun)
6. http://s31.postimg.org/8awdyit97/r001_010.jpg
F 3.5 shutter 1000 don't rember ISO + it's taken with 200mm Zoom lens

P.S : there was more photos, but laboratory guys told me that was all, so probably others were totally dark or something. On the negative as i see there are many empty spaces on film so that should be those which never came out. So right now i am looking all of this pictures and wondering if i should think this as a camera problem, cause as i said it's totally different film from previous ones. Please help me as much as possible. I appreciate ur effort. <3

 6.
Doug Armstrong
Thank you so much for detailed explanation, there are so many reasons i see, and now i am only hoping it was not a camera problem. For this moment as i say i am trying different Film and writing down the options i use for every single shot, i need about 2-3 days to see the result. If problem will still the same, after that i think it's time to think about this as a camera problem. Because functionally i try everything, i take shot with different options for same things to be sure that it's not me who make silly mistakes on shooting process.

 7.
James Dainis

Yes exactly!! Some of the pictures on the same roll was just fine, some were red, but most of them were red!! it was not exactly like first 3 was red other 3 good it was really mixed and sometimes yes 2 was red another 2 was good.

 8.
Yes some pictures were okay. Like this one https://s32.postimg.org/jv9cahsqd/AA020.jpg

Well then i try another roll of film different from this one and will see what the result will be. :P

 9.
+ one more detail = automatic timer button is broken so is there a way this can cause any additional light inside camera?

 10.
Update : i tried another roll of film (same kodak gold 200 ) and i received worse effect, all red and this time ISO was correctly set, now i am wondering if light meter is working correctly, will test it out and this time i will try same roll and will be more focused on each shoot with it's settings. Can it be a camera problem?

 11.
Thanks for all the answers. I was not involved in scanning process and not any process in dark room i handle it all to specialist in local film laboratory and when he saw those red pictures he almost laughed and said that it was my fault. I used Nikon GOLD 200 (not slide film) , which is not expired yet! Also i remember that the iso was different that 200 on the pictures at the beginning, but when i read that changing ISO is not good ( i am talking about the situation when film iso is 200 and u change to 100 and you have no idea if it's possible for that film) , then i changed it to 200 but i see some of the latest photos was also red. they used automatic scanner and some of the pictures were normal in color . I am uploading normal example.

 12.
Hey, today i was in local laboratory which produced my first negatives of my just bought olympus om-1, but now i am little confused, i got pictures wit too much red on them?? can you tell what can be the problem behind this? i was trying to shoot when my light meter was in the middle.

Here is one example

 13.
BeBu Lamar can you explain it further?

 14.
JayDann Walker

Thanks for suggesting that one as well. I will do my research and will probably decide which camera to buy between Nikon Fm, Pentax k1000 and Nikkormat (FT2 or EL).
