1. Heyo!

I just got a Canon extension tube FD 25 coupled with my FD 50mm f/1.4 on my canon A-1 body. I've been playing around with it and have been having a really hard time trying to get sharp focus. I haven't developed any rolls yet so i'm unsure whether my focus has been accurate. most of my photos have been shot around f/5.6 - 11.

Does anyone have any tips for shooting macro on a film camera?

    Cheers,

    Jarrod

IMG_5889.thumb.JPG.adc39cf582d65c577b1002e77194a713.JPG So i've had my olympus pen eed for a while now and i noticed some battery corrosion forming on the battery contact inside the battery compartment. I unscrewed the metal contact bit and cleaned it up but when i went to screw it back on the nut on the otherside has fallen away so there is nothing to screw it to. You can hear the nut moving around inside the body.

Does anyone know how i could reconnect the metal contact so it will connect the electrical system back up?

I've attached some photos to show the problem.IMG_5889.thumb.JPG.adc39cf582d65c577b1002e77194a713.JPGIMG_5891.thumb.JPG.7b6e2460169fe03f658c3c55b8232541.JPG

  3. Hello, just trying to get some clarification on the zone system.

I'm under the impression that there is 4 stops between zone III and VII. I've heard some people saying that there are 5 stops, which has now confused me....

If i meter the scene and the:

    - darkest area is EV 8

    - lightest area is EV 12

If i place the metering for the darkest area on zone III where will my highlights fall? Zone VI or VII?

  4.
Yes it was developed in stock solution of D-76 @ 20 deg celcius. Could it have something to do with the developer solution being near the end of its shelf life? Could these scatches have also occurred during the scanning stage? Or was it definitely loading the film onto the reel.

The photo was taken at Wedge Island, WA
