Visiting Relatives

Well taken. You have brought out the nice rich colours of the trees blending well with the green and orange leaves. Good leading line to draw our eyes into the photo and up to the trees. This photo certainly captures a moody atmosphere but is somehow quite serene. Love it! Cheers, Ann.

    Through The Bars

Black & White works well with this shot. I like your composition too. Sun glistening on the water stands out and my eye is also drawn to the railing shadow. Well spotted :o) Cheers, Ann.

    Blue Night...

What a beautiful photo! I love it! Nice colours, lovely bokkah and the dew drop...... simple but beautiful! Cheers, Ann.
  7. Hi Sandy. Enjoyed a look through your photos. Like the mist ones. But this photo drew my attention. Nice composition. Great focus on the light. Can't get my eyes off it :o) I also like the complementary colours with a hint of red in the pot plant. Maybe a bit blown out or bright up the top which is a bit of a distraction, but nothing that a crop or darkening in pp wouldn't fix :o) Very nice :o) Cheers, Ann.
  8.
We'll G'day William :o) Nice to meet you. Thanks alot for your nice comments. The Margaret River shot I took whilst the others in the party were busy wine tasting. Thank goodness it was early in our winery tour, or I may have got a double exposure milky shot haha :o)

  12.
Hey all,
I have always loved taking photos but have recently changed from my trusty point and shoot to enter the exciting world of DSLR.
Now my Canon 60D is my best friend ;o) ...... and am dabbling with different photo genres (liking slow shutter speed and flower photography right now).
Not having an artistic bone in my body.... (I can only draw stick men lol).... I am quite proud (probably just myself haha) to have created some nice artistic photo manipulations using Photoshop Elements. I would be interested to hear some feedback. Please see my uploaded photos.
I am a travel addict so scenic photography is nice too. Just recently visited Hong Kong, Canada and parts of the US and Belize. Have uploaded some of my favourite shots here on PN.
Anyway, here is the link.... Hope you like them :o)
http://www.photo.net/photodb/member-photos?user_id=9869829&include=all&unlimit=1
Looking forward to contributing to the forums, meeting new people, checking out your photos, hopefully receiving some nice comments on mine...... and most of all, learning more techniques and sharing photography stuff with all of you :o)
Cheers,
Ann.

  13.
A newbie here and the pictures on the "no word" threads enticed me to jump in and add a couple of my own :o)
Looks like fun and I am sure I will be a regular here.
