  6. Actually found out that it did fix the problem if I opened it with the software, and gave it a new name. After some research from the web (praise Google!), it has to do with my phone, being a tad on the old side, does not put in EXIF. Exchangeable Image File Format. This info does get added to the photo when you save it in one of those softwares that I mentioned. I found the info here was basic enough for me to understand.

  8. Apologies if this has been answered beforehand, I did try to search, but didn't find a response. I have an issue where when I take images with my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy 4) in portrait, the images end up uploading to the web in landscape. This is after I have saved the images in an upright position. I've tried Photoshop, DXO Optics Pro, and a few other photo apps, all of them load the image as intended, in portrait mode, so there's nothing to adjust. I upload them, and bam, sideways again. Frustrating.
