1.
Thanks for the quick replies, guys :) When I am developing, what are some of the characteristics of over and underdeveloped film? I've searched around online some but I can't find anything consistent

 2.
Hey guys, I'm new here! I just recently got into film developing (just finished my second roll actually) and I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm using a Caffenol-C Devolper with Ilford Rapid Fixer in a Rondix 35 tank and I'm shooting just regular FujiColor ISO 200. I know I'm not going to get any kinds of colors or anything but I'm fine with that, but I have a problem with my devloper times and I'm not sure whether I need to develop longer or shorter. First roll was at 14 minutes constant agitation (as you must do in a Rondix) and the negatives came out extremely dense and foggy, the second roll I dropped it to 12:30 and the same thing, in fact you could only see anything on the very very bright negatives with the sky in them. I know they're not developed right because you can't see any of the numbers or anything the manufacturer puts on the film but I'm just not sure what to change? Thanks in Advance!
-Jordan
