Thank you all so much for your responses ! They have all been extremely helpful. I started shooting black and white film about 10 years ago. I am taking a class this semester and am back in the dark room for the first time since 2009, and am so happy to be back! Thanks again for your contributions to my education :)

What is everyone's favorite type of film to use for black & white photography? I'm using Kodak Tri-X 400 ISO. I'm wondering if there is a different film type that gives more contrast.
