1.
I have all of those but they are mainly for Scan to print services, and they dont go into the advanced settings. Mainly I want to scan to our server in Jpeg format. All the ways I have found to do this need to go through some kind of conversion. From Tiff to Jpeg through the export menu or just copy over the tiffs and convert them with an action in photoshop. Once you eliminate the print functions, the manuals are basically useless.

 2.
Just got an SP3000 and having trouble getting support for this machine. This particular machine scans directly to Tif with a lo Res jpeg also. Any way to get it to scan to Jpeg? It is a standalone so no print functions. There are a lot of menus in the Setup section that I dont know about. Through trial and error I have come up with good settings for sharpness and grain. anyway to control contrast "on the fly" like you can with a Noritsu? I do wish the scans were a little flatter but nothing is clipping so I am good right now. I would like someone who operates this machine to help with some of the more advanced settings.
Phil
