Before I bought the aftermarket ones, I resorted to using a Quantum battery-pack and cable. As much as I love my D200/D300/D700, the D1H is often my favorite. It has a character all its own. I do wish it had come with a lighter-body twin sometimes. Finding aftermarket batteries with reportedly better life than the originals helped a lot with usability. Thanks Vincent! Yes, BTW I did try out B/W with this at one point because the green adds little enough to the image that it is nearly B/W when seen as a thumbnail. Didn't go with it, but it would certainly work here!

Hmmm ... OK, I'm going to try to reply IN HERE, because my reply in the other thread did not display -- probably because the image is deleted, even though the comments remain. I am sorry to take so long to reply -- I now have an email for you to use: sjsepan@outlook.com. I was able to replace the tree with a crop, but the winter scene would not update, despite multiple uploads and refreshes -- so I deleted and re-added it. -

Update: I have tried out crops from both sides, and they produce interesting results with a different feel between the two of them. I wish there was an easy way to post small photos right here to illustrate.
