Splendid city, splendid blue hour. Tones, lights and reflections make the scene enchanting. Being a sailing enthusiast I'm fond of harbours and marinas and surely this one is most interesting. Long ago, when I was on holidays in Switzerland, I met an old lady who lived here... I have always wished to visit this city... Thank you for your encouragement. I think I need it (:-) because this site structure is so hard to manage. You never find anything! (:-) Well I guess I need some time to be accustomed to it... By the way they never thought to refurbish the site layout and functioning?

Wonderful scenery and composition. I'm fond of lighthouses and this one is really cosy. The lane with the people create a sense of perspective and of strong identification and expectation. I like how the light creates a strong contrast. (I must thank you for your interesting and useful critique to my photo. Not being able to find a way to answer individually to each critique I added a comment to the photo, answering your observations).

No, I don't think I would have done it differently, the stupa and the statue match each others and create a kind of diagonal and that stone in foreground at right contributes to a fine depth. I like the soft light and tones (which I presume are a peculiarity of the place and hour). A fine travel photo. (I must thank you for your interesting critique to my photo. I have answered it adding a comment there because I could not find a way to reply individually to your critique).

I want to thank all of you who left a comment here. I could not find a way to reply to each one of you individually (it seems there is no reply button under the critique). To Jim: Yes, I know what you mean and actually I have taken another photo that way. I was not sure though which composition was more effective. Here I like how the rail lead the eye towards the distant cape and also the textures of the stones in the pavement. To David "more to the right and moved that railing out of the center of the frame, thus showing less of the platform that way." yes that could be a possibility. Here I chose deliberately that POV to have the rail at right in diagonal. To Larry: "The question is what thematic element the stone platform and railing have for the image?" Please read my answer to Jim.
