1.
Interesting. I have specifically indicated "uncorrected scans" on the order form.

EDIT: Honest question, what autocorrection would turn fire-truck red into funky purple?

 2.
I was lucky enough to be able to get fresh ProPlus II 200 pro-packs for $20 each. I compared these to my C200 films. The edge codes are indeed identical. I have yet to see any red saturation differences in my scans.

 3.
I have recently taken a picture of some sort of flower. I would describe its color as fire-truck red. I do not know its name. Its form vaguely resembles a primate brain or some sort of coral.

I sent the roll to be developed and scanned by some sort of Noritsu machine. All other frames came out correctly except for this one. I get some funky purple instead of fire-truck red.

The film used is Fuji ProPlus II 200. Its edge code is identical to that of the C200 film.

This particular frame has a pronounced green signature on the negative.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Azo dyes (or something similar) skewing the spectral response of the film (I know about this because Kodak used to produce some specially formulated film to counter the effect of azo dyes)

Poor exposure

Poor processing (unlikely since other frames are correctly scanned)

Poor scanning (I'm thinking about two possibilities: either the red channel of the scanner is blown or the masking has not been correctly removed. But blown red channels look more pink or orange)

Thank you.
