1.
Welp time to close my account out of embarrassment.... umm mods please change the title?

Moderator note: Title correction made.

 2.
Hello, I'm a fairly young amateur photographer, and I started off shooting my parent's canon ae-1 a year ago. I learned how to develop film and make prints. When I saved enough money up, I bought digital cameras, first a sony nex 6, which I sold and bought a fuji x100, which I sold and bought a x-pro1, which I sold and bought a d7000. I've found, however, that when I carry a digital camera with me, I feel numb the whole time. Im more focus on that lcd screen than the world around me. I know many of you will scoff at this, but I'm going to sell my d7000 and tamron 28-70 and 50mm 1.8 and put all the money toward film, photo paper, chemicals, and probably a medium format camera. I know ill never be able to do the same thing I could with digital, but i think its much more fun shooting film. Anyone else have a similar experience?

 3. Okay guys so I have decided I can deal with with crop sensors. For wide angle work I can use me Eos 1n. After thinking about it, Crop factor isnt all that bad since it basically turns my nifty 50 into a budget 80. So im now seriously consdiering the 50d or maybe a 7d if I can find a good deal on one. Thanks for all the tips, especially encouraging me not to but the 1d ii, which I was sooo close to buying.
 4.
Im considering the 50d now, but I still dont like the crop factor. Although, I found a canon 1d mk ii for the same price as the used 50d, including a battery and the expensive charger.

 5.
The x-t series is fascinating to me, but there is the consideration that I only have 1 lens for the X-pro, the 27mm pancake, and 3 well regarded lenses for eos

 6.
Ive been shooting the x-pro1 for 6 months now. I have never owned a dslr, but I have a canon eos 1 (film) that I shoot with. The iq on the fuji is absolutely stunning. I was so impressed by it. That being said, I often feel frustrated by it. The focus in any lighting conditions besides bright sun is terribly slow. It hunts fore focus very often. Continuous af is more of a formality than a function. There are almost no third party lenses available. The flash options are few. The lcd screen seems to be as scratch proof as a stick of butter. And finally, even with a grip, it feels so awkward in my hands. Because of all this, I am considering selling my Fuji. As I stated before, I have that film eos 1 with a ef50mm 1.8, a 100-300 f/5.6l, and a 28-70 ii and I find myself using it more often than my x-pro1. I want a digital camera, but I would like a full frame sensor because I dont like the 1.6x crop factors. Another consideration I have is the Pentax K7 and investing a bunch of inexpensive pentax glass. I will be using the money I get from selling the fuji and the lens I had with it, approx $450. Opinions?

 7.
Dude thats awesome! I love how your clothes match the camera! yeah the whole 70mm film could be an issue but I dont think it would be impossible to shoot some sort of film in the camera

 8.
I seen a few pictures of them, but Ive never heard of anyone owning or shooting one. I would love to see some close up pics and details about it.

 9.
Canon Fd 85mm f/1.8 razer sharp, utterly amazing glass. Falls just in your budget for a very good condition one on ebay or keh

 10.
hello. I bought a hand made leather wrist strap for my canon ae-1. all seemed well. And then I decided it would look great on my fuji x100. The strap simply ends in a standard key ring, not a string, and I found it is too rigid for me to comfortably grip the camera and press the shutter button. And tips on how to remedy this besides buying a new strap (which is the last option).

 11.
Are you asking if there is a change in sensitivity between digital and film?

 12.
I think this belongs more in the Beginner question forum or Mirrorless Forum... that being said, you should consider the Sony DSC Rx100 which I think has qualities of all the cameras you mentioned here: large sensor, decent zoom range etc. They can be had quite cheaply these days on the 'bay or keh

 13.
I was wondering just why it is that Canon or Nikon don't make medium format cameras? Im not sure if they ever made one in the film days.
