Composition is very cool, but it seems superbly executed - which has my attention even more than the composition. 'Nice bit of work.
-
Its an unusual treatment of the structures - and quite interesting.
-
'Wonderful, Alf. 'Couldn't have posed him better. Your color treatment is also wonderful - real looking rather than over baked. 'One to be quite proud of.
-
Gorgeous, Laurent. The gentle color is ideal. Nicely done.

'Love the subject matter and the near/far treatment with it. 'Nicely seen & executed.

Many Thx. I appreciate your kind thoughts (critical ones too). I love shooting old metal - machines, vehicles, workshops. 'Hope the day is good to each of you.

'Like the composition alot - the framing/alignment of the shrub & the mountain, the leading (diagonal) line of bright rock. 'Color palette is a bit strong (saturation) for me in the mid-foreground greens & some of the reflection on the water.

'Certainly is. With the other images posted of the zoo, it seems tragic - the decay. 'Looks like it was a really lovely place at one time.
-
Nicely executed. 'Looks like 2-light illumination, which seems less dramatic than the shadows created by a single or one-sided source. As is, its striking & nicely done.

Wonderful, Tony. Post treatment perfectly suited to the composition (again). 'Very handsome.

Terrific, Pierre - again.

Orthan, its beautiful. 'Different, fully rich in tones. Horse hair texture is pleasing. I'm bias towards a hard-focus portrait, so allow for that bias. The model is lovely & the skin tone is great. It looks like her complexion is rather flawless, such that a harder focus would bring a bit more strength to the hard focus of the nose of the horse. Lip detail & texture are nice. It could be done many ways and still be quite striking. This one certainly is.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.
'Best Regards,

'Very strong, Marta. 'Lovely street scene, basically a still life.

Kenneth, I appreciate your thought on it - more than I can say.
I'm guessing the space would have to come almost exclusively from the left. I can't go long before shooting metal, so hopefully I can tighten up the detail shots. Again, Many Thanks.

Tony, Thank You! I appreciate it every time you share your thoughts.

Mike, you're most kind. Thank You. The antiques & museum pieces are a little like landscapes - they don't move much & you can often get close enough to capture detail.

Thanks for looking. C&C are most welcome.
