Franz, Giangiaorgio, Thank you much for the comments.
I am so pleased you both liked the work. This picture most certainly was for B&W. Even in B&W, high structure and contrast made so much difference.

Splendid shot! great details!

Thank you, Vincent. Yeah, ISO was high. 100-400 with extender, f8 lens, AF mode! :-) not a great choice for landscape, I managed with what I had carried with me.

Franz, Giangiorgio,
Thank you for the appreciation. I was a bit concerned about the lighting when I was taking this shot. It was low-light condition and did not have tripod!

Hi Vincent, Thank you for the inputs. Yes, background is too detailed. I could only capture them fighting on the grass. On trees, it was hard due to foliage. I did not know they can gobble up ducklings! They don't look that violent! I only have seen (in documentaries) pelicans putting ducklings into their sacks! I thought that was hard to watch.
Best regards, Kamala

Daniel,
Thank you so much for the comments. I am utterly delighted to receive it, at the same time very humbled. I am very pleased that my work has impressed you. When I was taking this shot, I thought it will be an 'average' picture. But when I started working on the B&W, I was quite sure it was very presentable. B/R Kamala
