1. Isn't that because 400 and 160 are the new formula using vision technology and 800 is the old portra still
 2. @john that makes sense since it's a faster film it would fade quicker then slower speeds and consumer grade film as they put it need longer shelf life. I may actually raid the stores and see if anyone's selling some old stock for cheap
 3. Thanks for that great info Randall. I've ordered a bunch of film from b&h including kodak max 400, fuji s 800. I liked the look of both from what I've seen. And I agree it does resemble Portra in a way. It's a shame Portra 800 is pricey compared to max and superia
 4.
@Colin O
Thanks for the links. When I'm shooting Nightlife I happen to like the look the film produces, though It's too expensive to keep buying disposables just for that. Just shot a few rolls of Superia X-tra 400 and really hated the plastic colors and really red skintones. I know each to their own. But for me personally I'm looking for that look.
@David
Yeah I remember that. I've actually shot with real movie film but it looks much more like Portra just a bit flatter
Okay so I thought of checking the Coding on the Negs, It says Kodak GC 400, I think thats just Ultramax

 5.
Hi can you buy the film they load Kodak Disposables with. I know its some sort of film that doesn't meet the "quality standard" or at least what i've heard. I know the obvious answer is buy a disposable and take it out. But they cost about $15 over here and I think they use a different spool head with spikes on it

 6.
thanks for all the responses. So what happened was I shot a few images, then got worried about the focusing, and while checking the lens accidentally fired a few shots, then for what ever reason I reminded the film at 9 frames. Just got the film back. From what I can tell by using the loupe and v600 the ones I actually took are in focus but there all in the hyper-focal distance. So its still a bit of a mystery but from whats been said and what I can tell I think it may actually work. I actually bought a brand new Stylus Epic so I think Ill use that and sometime in the future run another roll through the infinity

 7.
Hi I just received my Olympus Infinity Stylus and started to run some tests on it. Though I can't hear or see the lens focusing it doesn't move or make any sounds is that normal or is the focusing broken.
The lens does move out when the cover is slide open
