1.
Hey!
I am trying to learn about Studio lighting setup but every time I go to youtube and open a video or start reading an article, I get lost as I do not have the basics. I have learned a lot about my camera in the past few months and now I think it is time for me to start learning about Flashes, strobes, umbrella's, softboxes and all the other gear. I have done some research though and I will order a flash so as I am learning about the speed lights (for a start) I can experiment at the same time. So is there a book or an online course that you "PRO's" would recommend on getting. I am so impatient to start learning more about light and all the other Camera gear.
Please note I am a Stay at home and trying to learn on a side as I have a little girl (1 yr old) and she is completely dependent on me.
Thank You so much for your responses in advance.

 3. Hi! My question is about taking pictures in mid day with harsh light using camera gear.. I know to get a better picture one should look for a shade but if there is no shade or one wanna take a picture behind a background than can a hood or any filter can help reduce the light and those harsh shadows. Also please note I know what a diffuser does but lets say you're out on a vacation and during mid day you want to take picture with a beautiful background so using camera gear how can you avoid or atleast get some less harsh shadows in your picture. I hope the way I explained my question makes sense.
 4. Thank you for your responses. I know as soon as I get my flash next month I will play with on camera and then move to off camera and mount it on a stand with an umbrella. I don't want cords so remote trigger is what I need. I will Jos Van Eekelen look into the YN 622C trigger but can you please tell me if there are any specs I should look for?
