1. Thanks for all the ideas. I'll start digging and see what comes up! Not more tulips, I hope.
  2.
Two days ago, I went to see a tulip festival in my area. I don't normally shoot these scenes, but figured, what the heck. Anyway, I exposed normally, the day was bright, but the red tulips are totally failed. Total red, very little if any detail like some slide films used to do. Coincidentally, I also did a couple of snaps with my iPhone 6+ and they are way better with respect to detail. Any idea what's going on there? I'm shooting a 5D MKll, with a 24-105mmf/4L lens ±400ISO.

  3.
Thanks, Colin for that concise explanation. Scores of forays into just what this is about only led me to have to buy something. Seems this information is sort of hidden. But actually, my question remains. 'Why can't I see my photos when I open iCloud app on my phone? I see all the photos when I open the very same app on my iMac, that seems to be the interface that recognizes them, the iCloud drive on my phone does not. I'm still a bit weak on this.

  4.
I think I'd get authorization and return it. You don't want to be fighting this until the warranty runs out. It's a mental health issue for me;-))

  5.
I recently uploaded my photos of a trip to Europe from my iPhone 6 to iCloud. When I open the iCloud app on the phone, all I see are two folders for Pages and Keynote. When I open iCloud on my iMac, all the photos are there. Before I delete all these to gain some storage on the phone, I want to be sure everything is saved. Shouldn't the photos show up in both places?

The beads remind me of a Mala- beads used in Yogic practice. So perhaps the intent of the subject is closer to 'with spiritual practice things are more clear, while without it, things are foggy and muddled'. The razor sharpness of the hand is stunning, and makes up for any perceived shortcomings. In my view.

  8.
Jordan- Nice image. I'm afraid tho, that with only 3385 pix on the long side, printing at 300dpi would give you an 11 1/4"print. Have you uprezzed this file yet? It seems that a 16 Mb file should give you what you want, or pretty close. Try stair Interpolation for awfully good results. Do you still have the untouched original?

  9.
Hi all- This is a new installation of an Epson 3880 on an iMac running Mavericks 10.9.4 The printer works from its own control panel, but I can't print because I can't add it to the printer list. I've gone to Epson for the latest driver, knowing the included disc was too old, but no help. It just doesn't show up in the 'Add' box. Any ideas?

William- I also like very much the minimalist approach to this photo. I've been working in that mode for a few years now. And I recognize that the slight slant to the clouds may have been un avoidable. If you had taken 2 steps to the left, so your camera was straight-on to the waves, than the log would have dramatically changed its shape. The horizon is flat, so I'll say 'nicely seen '.
  11.
Hi all- I'm looking for an icc profile for the Kirkland Glossy photo paper. I'm using an Epson 3800. All I can find are forums from 8-9 yrs ago that post broken links. The paper seems OK, and a bargain, but I would like to have the profile. This particular paper is made in Mexico. Any ideas?
