Resegone is a mountain in the Alps of Lombardy, 1875 m high,

situated on the border between the province of Bergamo and the

province of Lecco .

The name originates from his famous profile (the Lombard term

resegón means large saw) , given that , especially when seen from

the town of Lecco and the Brianza , its nine main peaks recall

precisely the blade of a saw .
