<p>Hello guys, <br> I am extremely excited to be flying to Europe end of this summer. Technically going back home - but well, I haven't in 10ish years. Long story, I have absolutely no idea what to expect when it comes to specific things as a Photographer/Journalist. <br> I'm mostly hired and booked for Holland and Switzerland since last year- but I will also be staying in Switzerland and visit my family there, as I will be in Germany and Italy to stay with family when ever I can. All together I am staying at least 12 months and take full advantage for a great adventure.<br> A) My most serious question is the License or authorization. I have heard it would be smarter to use the term '' FREELANCER'' instead of Professional because of registration purposes. ( Registration is only possible if gone to College with degree there ?) Or something like that. I pay my Taxes for my studio here- but won't overseas. Anything that is important ?<br> B) How do you connect/ Network with Photographers/ Artists from here? I was told most folks in Europe are not so much into the online thing and use actual forums, such as this one?<br> I love meeting new people and connect. <p>I am so blessed with the memories of growing up with film as a kid. So it is not completely new to me.<br> New is to hear and see what FILM actually means, comparing to DSLR. I enjoy the newer full frame series that I use for work. <br> THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for the responses. It was a joy to read !<br> I am a manual kid. I love playing around with the camera . I do enjoy looking at GRAIN actually. Not too much, but visible. <br> So I will have to find a good one by experimenting. <p>Hello everyone.<br> Film was the very first thing I held in my hand. But not for long and not long enough to really appreciate my grandpa's Leica. *( I gave it to my older sister in 1989ish. Digital it was after Nikon got me hooked with it's D60 about 10 years ago.<br> I am at a point of my own experience to do more film. I do love my full frames and all the comfortable stuff it comes with BUT FILM is a joy ! <br> Where I live we have some great local camera stores that sell a bunch. Different ones. <br> Manual film lenses are beautiful. <br> The Nikon FM10 is only about $400- $500 - does anyone have experience with it? Are there better more common ones? <br> It is just for the fun of it and I enjoy to learn and experiment </p> <p>Thank you guys </p>
