I very much like this composition with the very large almost regal reflection and the small mundane people on the bridge.

A beautifully evocative mix of color and texture. Keeps my eye moving and exploring. emb

A wonderful working picture. It makes me cold to look at it. emb

Thanks for your interest and the suggestion. I have tried the BW and I like the BW look on this picture. I may have to try that more often. ed

For me your picture captures the drama of everyday life. Th deep space on the left draws my eye in and invites me to wonder about the lives of these men. emb

Thanks Stephanie. I'm trying to pay more attention to reflections. ed

At first I saw another of your wonderful abstractions. Then I saw the scale like surface of the wires and they came to life. Snakes? emb

the objects do seem like characters. Perhaps Waiting for Godot. emb

I will very much appreciate any comments you may have.

The surreal ball reminds me of a Chuck Close work. It is marvelous. I find the banal blurry figures below distracting and without much thematic connection to the ball. emb

You have created a beautiful evocation of loneliness. emb

I think public benches provide a wonderful way to portray human diversity. this image is particularly nice as these two different people both seem to be concerned with something in their hands [screens, or is he holding cigarettes]. Their distance also conveys something of the fears of public spaces. thanks for the picture. emb

A very nice 'father' picture. I like the way the composition creates a context for the figures and the way the son is looking at something the father is doing. Learning. Their common posture also gives it an intimacy. emb

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. It is a great joy to hear what thoughts my pictures evoke in others. ed

Again, the images in this series are chilling. So well done that they are hard to look at. ed

Green Herons have a lot of 'personality.' You've captured this beautifully. thanks ed.

I like the composition. My eye moves around from the artist to the drawing to the mother and the river. The young woman's apparent awareness of the photographer, of having her picture made twice is at first distracting. Then I thought that her awareness of having her picture made twice is in some ways the subject of the picture. To be beautiful and gazed at. Perhaps that is what the mother worries about. Thanks for a very interesting image. ed

Cute shot. I especially like the ambiguity of what is going on. It creates interest and draws me into the scene. I was recently looking at seventeenth century Dutch Genre Paintings and thinking about how like street photography they are. This image, it seems to me, in that genre as well. I am back online after a few months in the country. I will enjoy checking in on your work. All the best, ed

A beautiful 'father' shot. I especially like the way you have captured the emotions of this pair. The shadows, of course, enhance the visual interest. ed
