very warm and she seems to really be proud of you.. i am not too fond of the darkened areas at the borders and blurred lighting effect because in this case she can hold her own ... its a distraction from her beauty that for me isnt really necessary but i still find this photo to be real and touching -

hi Jack i just noticed this as PoW ,, its just one of those unique moments in photography i guess. the calm before the storm.. the stillness of the night. being in the right place at the right time. its not just a sense of seeing that we get here from this photo its a sense of feeling. you have put us right there in the moment with you. we can feel the calmness the solitude the slumber of the city. i do like the post in the forground as well it gives us a real feel to the city and seems to bring us in to the void of what is surrounding the bicycles. nice shot Jack. always been a fan of your stuff. -
What an ideal choice the elves have made. its a classic. a mystery. the man is an inigma...... not just your average Joe... how lucky to have stumbled across this man. the mood is dark and intense and the way he is filmed at the edge of the frame as if he is about to vanish into the night. i enjoy a photo that has the abiliy to tell a thousand different stories as this photo does. congrates Drew -

i see photos like this and think BIBLICAL its not easy to get a nature shot that is technically beautiful as it is aesthetically beautiful as well,, like nature there is a fine balance and you have mastered that very well here. -

something out of anne of green gables -
i like the way you have framed the shot in black. she does seem isolated alomst squeezed in... but then there is the opened area at the end of the frame just enough breathing room. -
well done its subtle it reminds me of an old door where you look thur the peak whole the kind you would put a skeleton key in and you just get a glimpse of what is on the other side. good result with difficult light play too -
i like the different patterns eveyway and the girls expression a lot
