This new lens features a wide-angle fixed-focal-length that is the world’s first to utilize Canon's newly-developed and exclusive Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics (BR Optics).   15. <p>Tokina has announced that they will be releasing their AT-X 24-70mm F/2.8 FX Lens in the U.S. This fast lens maintains its F/2.8 aperture throughout its zoom range. Its unique optical design ensures sharp images with proper contrast, even exposure over the whole image and controlled chromatic aberration. Along with innovative optics, the lens has a Silent Drive-Module motor that reduces AF noise making it one of Tokina’s quickest and quietest auto-focusing lenses.   17. <p>Adobe has released updates to <a href="http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/">Creative Cloud</a>! There are new tools and features for both Photoshop CC and Lightroom. The new Lightroom update includes tools to easily adjust haze, efficiently adjust black and white levels, and move photos from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom. The new Photoshop CC update includes tools to create more realistic blur, heal and patch images faster, move and extend objects with more control, create better panoramas with content aware fill, and Adobe Camera Raw 9.1 enhancements. Also introduced with this update, are new mobile apps for iOS and Android, Photoshop Mix and Lightroom.</p> <p>Adobe has also launched <a href="https://stock.adobe.com/">Adobe Stock</a>, Adobe’s new stock photography service.   18. <p>Canon has announced their newest G-series compact digital camera, the Canon PowerShot G3 X. The G3 X has DSLR-style features and quality in a compact, dust and water resistant body. It has great low-light capabilities, a 20.2 Megapixel High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor, and an ISO range of 125 – 12,800. More features include a f/2.8-5.6, 25x Optical Power Zoom Lens, an Auto Exposure (AE) lock button, Auto Focus (AF) selection button, DRIVE/AF button, and 1080p Full HD video. Features also include, Canon’s Star Mode, which captures both still images of star trails and time-lapse video of star movement in the sky. The G3 X also has built in WiFi with NFC (Near Field Communication) which allows pairing with compatible mobile devices and makes sharing photos on social media quick and easy.   19. <p>The “Nikon Wedding Truck Studio” is coming to New York City Hall (Office of the City Clerk) this Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5! The “Nikon Wedding Truck Studio” is a fully equipped mobile photography studio and this week it is driven by Professional Photographer Joe McNally. Nikon and McNally, a Nikon Ambassador, are offering couples who get married at the Office of the City Clerk this week a chance to have a free portrait session in the mobile studio to celebrate their marriage. Couples will be photographed in order of arrival and must bring a valid New York State marriage certificate that states they were married during the week of June 1 to June 5, 2015 at New York City Hall.<br> The Nikon Wedding Truck Studio is part of Nikon’s “I AM Generation Image” Campaign, which encourages the new generation of photographers to tell their stories through exceptional photography.
