  1. Ok thanks all. What my thoughts are: a couple a years ago i bought a land 195 and just in time i was lucky enough to try

and shoot with the 669 film when it was still cheap and around. When i heard that polaroid was closing i sold the195.

Then some month ago i was in the baisment and found a lot of transfers i did with the 669 on archess aqurelle . I liked

them so much that i put together 30 in a big frame and now its on my white wall i the kitchen. Really really nice and

verypersonal i think. Anyway it inspired me so much that i got a land 250 and a lot of fuji fp 100c thinking i would do

some " reclaimed polaroid" or also called bleached negatives because i like the vintage frame that comes along when

bleaching it. I did a lot of these and i like them but my BIG problem is the fuji film which i dont find artistic enough

compared to the 669. I think its to " nice" and correct in the colors. Now i know that polaroid wasent intended to be used

this way but i think this is what we all love about it. Anyway i got some tips from you John Shiver on trying to heat the fuji.

Actually i did and it really brings out the cyan dye but it also darkens the overall image. Anyway this " dissapointment"

with the fuji led me to try the impos.project films with the sx 70. So like the fuji film andthe 669 and other polaroid films

has /had lots of ways to be used.. Transfers, emultionlifts, bleaching negatives i thought that maybe intergral film could be

manipulated in some way...scanned and enlarged ... Anything. And yes maybe just be satified with the beauty i the

    small....

  2. Im think im about to buy a sx70 model with autofocus because i like the impossible projects integral film ...i think its called px 70 . But i

dont know what to use the images for... They cant be enlarged , they cant produce any negative , and they are not very big in its self. Is

it possible to scan those littel pictures and make some small posters , say 20x30 cm or even a littel bigger and frame to use on my own

walls or will resolution be to bad to enlarge? And what do you use them for.?

  3. Hey. I just shot ( i couldnt wait any longer) a agfa 100 pesicia roll under rather doll ligning conditions outside on overcast day with a on

camera flah thinking that it could make up for the missing sun and contrast. I processedit in tetenal colortech and it turned out x

processed allright .. Kind og green and yellowish but missing contrast because of the missing light?. Now im going on holliday and i can

see that the weather is also going to be overcast there so i was wondering if it makes a difference in contrast to push the agfa 100 roll

1 or 2 stops to gain contrast later in development? Thanks

  4. Hi - didnt notice that on her site but she was so kind to answer me when i asked today and she wrote exactly like you

answered and whats on her site. I asked again what film and camera and she uses a 180 and a 600se. And expired 669.

I asked what she will do when shes out of 669 eventually and she answered : polaroid id-uv film. I didnt know about that

film and thought .. Wow is this film still availiable . so i did a search right away on the net but it seems that this film i just

as hard to get a hold of as 669 or any other polaroid film. The thing is i , like many others , think that the fuji fp 100 c is to

perfect for doing polaroid " art work" with . So as john said above: Maybe experimenting with temp. Manipulation or

something. Anyone know why the impossible film project hasent come up with some kind of replacement for the 669

film.seems like a lot of people is asking for a replacement.. We all love the moodynees and unreal colors it can produce

  5. Ok . Thanks guys - your amazing:) so : i know i asked about pushing and pulling but if i just want to add contrast to a a

say kodak portra or any other color negative film i have to extend the dev time ...but how much time are we talking about

? ( i know some would say depending on the contrast you want ) but if i have to start somewhere ... Where then? Thanks

. Until now i have developed two color film a ektar 100 and a portra 400 which both lacked contrast. I had to push the

histogram together in photshop and then they looked ok. But i want to achive it in the develop stage... ;)

  6. Hi there. I recently started my film processing carrier:) and now im developing my own bw and color. Tonight im going to shoot a kodak

portra 400 and try to push it one stop. Just to try. I think i know about the exposure setting the film to 800 but where do i find some

knowledege about how much ekstra time i have to develop. Is there some kind of chart for different film push and pull processing?

    Thanks

  7. Ok ... Thanks guys a million. You help me a lot. For now im on holliday i berlin and because we dont have any stores in denmark selling

chemistry anymore ive found a nice store (fotoimpex) that sold me some kodak400 tmax and some kodak d-76 to go. So now im in berlin

with my fully loaded and functional rolleicord...who can ask for more.... Other than being able to develop some nice bandw!!!! Anyway

duanne!! - id really like to take you up on that email to you thing when youve got the time. I sure could use some hands on tips.. Where do

i get your email from ... By clicking on your name here in forum or..? Thanks . Jepper

  8. Man .. You are great! Thanks for helping me out here .now i understand a lot more allready. And duanne?.. Can i have a hot line to you

when i start developing my first images next week :) Seems like you do all by hand and thats what i intent to do .. But im totally a

stranger to film developing but then again i also was to photoshop, screen calibration, color management, printing ect years ago. So im

    gonna get there somehow ;)

  9. ... So ive got rid of all my lovely digit equipment and bought a rolleicord va . I want to photograph film and do my own development.

Mainly color negatives and b&w. Im total newbie but what i found out is to get a tetenal colortec c41 rapid kit for developing

colornegatives. The reason why? I found this lovely youtube tut on how to do it.. Only with a unicolor set which should be the same as

the tetenal set. The video i belive is a good startingpoint for me. On the video the guy is actually developing a b&w film but says it cant as

well be used for colornegatives. So my question is: does this set ( tetenal color tec) do both .. ofcourse with different instructions that is..?

The film im planing to shoot with at first ( the one i like so far) is kodak portra, kodak ekta 100, maybe fuji 400h dont know so much.. And

then im much in doubt about the b&w films.. . Really my goal is to scan them with the epson v600 or v700 and make prints as large as it

is possible for my own walls. The youtube film im refering to is called " developing c-41 colorfilm at home" . Thanks again for helping

    out..

  10. Hi there. I love shooting on location using my batteri powered studioflash but here in sweden its getting winter. So im searching high and

low for cool studio backdrops. Now i do have a lot of seemles paper 2.72 m rolls but inever use them anymore...to boring. So now im

searcing for old worn canvas on old trucks but its not easy. So i want to ask in here for surgestions on some nice , cool studio backdrobs

in any possible material or form. Also if you know of any company who sell nice backdrops. Thanks in advance. Louise

  11. Hi there. I love shooting outdoor with my studio flash on batteries but i need some new inspiration and knowledge on how to get new "

looks" here i think that there must be more to outdoor flash photography than balancing ambient or overpower sun light, crosslightning

ect. It all started with zacarias one light dvd a couple a years ago. Now i could do with a two light dvd or 3 light dvd... :). Hope you

understand what i mean ... Any surgestions. Thanks louise.
