Lake Pamvotida, commonly also Lake of Ioannina is the largest lake of Epirus, located in north-western Greece. The lake features small fishing ports and a boating port. A beautiful place offering many scenic photography opportunities especially during winter. The light morning mist over the lake gave a soft moody palette, so I've decided to try some monochrome shots.

Always inspired by Thessaloniki's port surroundings during sunset and the golden hour across all seasons of the year. Especially during the winter months colors are crispier and more vivid. I took a few shots last week practicing with my Nikon Z fc. The port of Thessaloniki is one of the largest seaports in the Eastern Mediterranean. It is considered the gateway Port to the Balkans and South East Europe.

A picture of the Thessaloniki Port Crane Monument. It was built in the early 1900s by the local Jewish architect Eli Modiano, based on designs by the Franco-Levantine architect Alexander Vallaury 1. The monument was originally used as a crane to load and unload cargo from ships 2. It has been restored and preserved as a monument since 1977. -

Kokkori bridge is set between two sheer cliffs below the village of Koukouli. This is one of the most picturesque of the Zagorohoria's stone bridges located in Epirus, Greece, in the northwestern part of the country. It was first built in 1750, and has been kept in excellent repair ever since. Took that picture standing on a rock at the river's bed, choosing a lower angle for this shot.
