Thanks Wayne! This little alley was just around the corner from where I lived for 6 months in Paris... Always wanted to photograph it & when that tree blossomed, that was the perfect time!
  1. Thank you for your multiple comments Wayne - I appreciate you stopping by to visit my stream. The real artist here, in my opinion, is the architect who foreshadowed this beautiful interplay of form, light & shade...

Vincent, thanks a lot for your kind comment. I love shooting with my smartphone as much as I love my Canon 7D :))). Thank you for stopping by my stream... Aina
  2. Thank you Wayne for your +ve feedback. Who would have thought that the humble old iPhone could be used for things like this! That pano function is pretty amazing. I carry my Canon 7D & iPhone now to shoot pictures always...

I like the unusual combination of vertical and diagonal lines created by the tree trunks and branches. The moss on the branches makes them unexpectedly green also. Overall this is a striking image - the lighting is perfect.

Great sense of speed you have created with that moving train. That and the sense of distance. The contrasting textures between the platform and the walls are also really interesting. Capital shot!

I can only echo the previous comments: beautiful clarity on that left bird and great composition overall. The vegetation in the beak adds a nice touch too.

Oh my, what wonderful framing you have achieved on this shot! This is a delightful image - the diagonal line of the bird and flower really have a lot of visual appeal. Congrats to you for catching this little guy: they are devilishly hard to catch out there, let alone in such an attractive shot as this one.
