Darwinian rules, eh?
After looking through the many posts of frustration, bewilderment, anger, and despair, I am surprised at the seeming stonewall, non-responsive, and defensive reaction of site administration to complaints (when, that is, it responds at all). If you really wish people to use your site, then it might be a good thing that it be stable, well-tested, and supplied with published guidelines and clear instructions.
It seems that the new format was rolled out before sufficient admin and support structure was in place, with the thought that underpinnings would be retrofitted on the fly after implementation. I spent a very long career designing systems, and that policy is never a good idea.
Well, It's a shame. From what I gather, some users have been voting with their feet. Sad day, when a once great resource and platform dissolves in messy mediocrity and dysfunction. Paid membership, for this? I think not.
