In response to a couple of comments. This image is in fact just one image. When we were trying to compose it, the model leaned her head forward and pushed as much flour as she could onto her hair and then threw her head back for the shot. This did not work so I suggested she try the same method but to lean as far back as possible and throw her head forward. She required to keep her arms out to balance herself which worked well for the final image. It took 4 takes until I was happy with the hair and flour flow.

This is a lovely image! Very dream like. Well done!

the tone and shadow play in this image are great!

The subject is well focused and the simple framing works. I would have tried to bring out more highlight to the face and hair while reducing the brightness to her white clothing. This would allow the eye to be drawn to her face first as it would have been the brighter area in the image. Well done.

This was from my first model shoot and taken in Seattle this last Oct.

Lighting was a single large striplight softbox with egg crates, to right of

camera, and ambient light from large living-room window on camera's left.
