Love the light and color. The white of the dress is very well balanced with the light around the face. Very nice DOF. Also a very beautiful subject.

Cheers

The subject is well focused and the simple framing works. I would have tried to bring out more highlight to the face and hair while reducing the brightness to her white clothing. This would allow the eye to be drawn to her face first as it would have been the brighter area in the image. Well done.

You have a very pretty model here, your exposure is so well set and the details you brought out of her faced are so fine as well as the original skin tone, the pleasant expression and her eyes adding a wonderful connection with viewers.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

This is a perfect exposed image and the model is very expresive.

I'm not sure about the squareish framing. In my oppinion it's...undecided. i would go for the landscape framing for this and leave out some of that white shirt because it takes too much space and distracts  the attention fom that beautiful face. Regards, Bogdan

It lacks overall sharpness and skin texture very much.  A nice photo for a family album. The white blouse is partly overexposed. Despite the shallow DOF, the photo is flat, may be due to low contrast or bad bokeh, dunno.

Hi, Frederick,

This me again. I was taking a look at your wonderful work and saw this image. Perhaps the title is a little curious as I see much more than a head, close to be half body portrait.  In case of portraits, I see much expression when including hands also but her position is some rigid, but it´s ok. Her face expression is well transmitting beauty, mistery, peace. The work done before on her hair is incredible, with beautiful blond, white and dark tones in different areas. I agree with some of the critiques before: perhaps the color of the blouse is so brigt that disturbs the image that must be centered on her face. The background tones are lovely harmony with her hair. Congratulations. Wishing you the best for 2,011. Josemi Gondra.
