I am a great fan of your work and this image a good example of why.
I really like the use of color and geometry in it plus it is sexy, fun and tells a story something that I always look for in an image.

I am not normally a big fan of fisheye but I am a fan of this image but then I'm a fan of any image that tells a story.
Maybe I just need to get friendlier with a fisheye lens, I am toying with the idea of using a 35mm fish when I shoot my fireworks pictures this year.

Just my humble opinion but there is something more enticing about the image full length as opposed to just a bust shot.

I am getting ready for a gallery show and would like your thoughts on
including this image in it.

I captured this image from the balcony of the building I live in. I would like
to get thoughts on it.
Thanks in advance

I always enjoy taking and looking at pictures with a lot of depth of field. What draws my eye in this one is the shear starkness of the scene.
I think the only things I would have done differently is in the composition. I would have had the camera closer to the ground and centered between the tracks to create a vanishing point that brought the track together.

This is my first real attempt at doing a portrait of someone. I was using a
white brick wall in my apartment as the back drop and my subject is a
wonderful albeit moody 13 year old so I tried to capture her range of
emotions in the shoot.
I would appreciate any and all critiques.
Thanks in advanced.

Was mounted on a tripod and I was using a cable release.

The moon was in sharp focus in my view finder yet the image came out
distorted and I have no clue as to why.
Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T3i
Lens: 500mm tube f/8 CPL filter
Exposure: 1/60
This seems to have happened on most of the pictures I took that night.
Any information would be helpful thanks in advanced.

I have this thing about shooting the Sierras...I always ask myself "how would Ansel Adams shoot it".
Great image though love the colors reminds me of my boyhood days in Bishop watching the sun rise on Mt Tom.

Was out roaming around today and noticed this rock out crop just
wondering if anyone else sees what I do.

I love an image that tells a story and this one could be a novel IMHO.
Wonderful picture!

Thank you for the sage advise.
I had taken this one using a Tiffen #3 Soft Filter at the same time and was happier with it then I was with that first filter but when I added the B&W in Lightroom just fooling around she fell in love with it.
It was her birthday so who was I to argue. :D
I think the focus issue is actually caused by the filter itself because the second shot was taken from the exact same spot as the first.
