Very nice photo Laura. I think your combination of colors and textures here and your great pose create one of your better shots (they are all always intriguing).

    Another great effort.

  1. Very nicely done. Really like the lines, shapes, colors and textures. You have a very good portfolio. You and I seem to have our eyes pulled to very similar images with dramatic lines, shapes and contrasting colors. Nice work indeed.

This is really a very nice b/w landscape. I think the foreground buildings add perspective and the clouds rolling in from the left add some drama to the impressive mountain range. Neat to see it black and white.

  2. This is a really appealing shot. For my eye, just the right composition of the curves and shapes and great control of the gray tones. I can imagine this is all sorts of things. Very nice,

  3. I really like this mixture of textures and what appear to be such out of place colors. The colors, textures and patterns make for a very nice photo. Nit- picking but I would have leveled the horizontal lines a bit.

  4. Hi Maurizio,

This strikes me as a beautiful classy image of a classically beautiful woman. No gimmicks or bling. Beautiful in its lighting and simplicity. The shadow really makes it work!

Thanks for being so generous with your time and thoughts to look at my pictures and for offering such helpful comments; you always encourage me when I am getting "blocked".

I was struck by the old but solid, heavy feeling of this building and by the wonderful colors and imperfect shapes abutting each other. This is located in a village in Finland. The reflection does serve as a fun picture in a picture with very contrasting architecture and status. Wish I could say that was totally planned!

Thanks again for your always helpful critiques!
