  7. <p>I need a tripod, mainly for traveling, which is capable of holding my T1i and 100-400. In the future the T1i will probably be upgraded to a xxD Canon and whatever the weight increase that gives. Since I live in a rural area, I haven't been able to see a lot of them in person, and it looks like I can spend a fortune. I'm not that interested in the brand, so long as it is reliable and holds the camera where I put it. Thanks in advance. </p>

  9. <p>I apparently lost the spring clip that slides into the hotshoe on my T1i. I had noticed it pop out once before and slid it back in. Are you aware of a retailer that would sell just that part online, or is sending the camera to Canon in order? </p>
