1.
Yeah, I'd considered giving cheaper films like Foma or Efke a shot because I planned on scanning in and doing digital prints, but there's a part of me that also wants to go back in the darkroom and get some nice 11x14 or 16x20 prints on warmtone paper, so I think I'm going to stick to the more "higher end" stuff.

I just bought some Acros100 to test it out.

 2.
I'm looking to do some BW portraiture with my 4x5 camera using mainly natural light.
For all my BW 4x5 work thus far, I've used HP5, but I've been looking at some sample images with people using the TriX320 and Acros100 films, and I'm leaning towards a switch to the Acros film.
Does anyone who's used the film have any comments about it?
Or does anyone have suggestions for any other film? Or should I just keep using HP5, save myself the money of buying a different film stock and do everything in post? (Since I'm probably doing large-scale prints, I'll be digitally printing)
Thanks,
3.
I think you may be too late for Kodachrome. Dwayne's needs all Kodachrome in by noon on the 30th. That means you'd have to get your hands on a roll now, shoot it the same day, and then overnight it the next day to even have a chance at making the deadline.
I tried to get my hands on Kodachrome in super8/16mm for filmmaking, but couldn't.
The alternative now is Ektachrome, which isn't bad at all.

 4.
I've been shooting a lot of HP5, but I thought I'd go and see what other b/w options there are for large format. I shot a lot of Tri-X 400 for 35mm, and really liked it, but I know there's really no difference between Tri-X and HP5, besides the fact that Tri-X has a tendency to be slightly more contrasty. In looking around, I noticed the Fuji Acros stock, which is priced quite a bit higher than either the Ilford or Kodak stocks. It seems to be getting fairly good reviews too. The question is: is the Acros stock really worth the money to see a considerable difference from what I've been using?
Any comments/feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

 5.
I recently bought a 4x5 camera that came with a Komura 210mm lens. I know that lens will work OK, but I'm looking to add a 2nd lens (slightly wider) that won't run me too much money (being a student, I'm on a bit of a budget!). Does anyone on here know from experience any 4x5 lenses that are more on the cheap-o side, but still provide good sharpness and image quality?

 6.
Hi,

I'm looking to get a light meter for my cameras that don't have a built in meter in the viewfinder. What would be the best option for a light meter? I do some film/cinematography work too, so I'd like to find a meter that can work for metering for that too. I know there's the Gossen DigiPro, but I'm trying to find something a little less expensive than that.

Anyone know of one? Thanks.

 7.
Hi,
I recently purchased a Mamiya Press Super 23, and I read through the camera, but I'm not quite sure what the M-X selector does. Could someone give me some insight as to what that does? I've used medium format cameras before, but none have ever had this M-X selector, and I've tried googling it, but haven't been successful.
Thanks

Taka
