Any more when I am out without any Photographic purpose, I carry my iPhone 5SE.
It produces acceptable photos that I can improve in post production.

-

I really did not see any that I would "hang on the wall."
It kind of reminds me of the Woodstock photos.
You had to be there to appreciate them.

I am into photo restoration. I have a Canon Selphy CP910.
This gives me a 4" x 6" print.
After a photo is restored, I pass the prints on to family and friends.
Other than that, I use commercial printers for my enlargements.

-

I find that a simple title to point the person viewing the photo in the right direction is all that is needed.

-

I forgot to add that if there is any damage, you still have the originals.
Also a light frame could be added.

-

I would have prints made just for this presentation and have them dry mounted on foam board.

-

I would have shown the photo to the person and deleted the photo with the person watching.

We did not have that option when we were using film.

After all it is not worth the time and grief to prove a point.

It is easy to setup a shot with a more willing subject.

It kind of makes wounder when the SN on the box is different that the one on the product.

Yes.

My camera has a memory that I can download the photo to the computer without the need of a card.

-

I guess my response would be both "yes" and "no."
As a news photographer, I was there to record the event.
As just one who was there, I would say no.
With the exception of my first wife's funeral.
Before the actual funeral and before any one else had arrived, I recorded most every thing.
I shot the the flowers, the arrangement, Joyce with the flowers from the back of the room and closeups, the front of the funeral home and then the casket as it was on the stand over the grave.
I used my pocket camera so it would not be noticed.
Why you might ask.
I did it for me.

-

Why?
Because the majority of the people today have the "I am better than you" and do not respect the abilities of others.

-

If is is friends or family and I am using my pocket camera, yes I do.
If I am there to shoot the festivies, then No.

-

The micro-SD card is small enough that I would get a half dozen or more and when one is full then put a new card. Somehow I don't trust the cloud.

I find that itis interesting that way back in "ancient" times, this was the problem with photography in the court room.

This was solved when the judges sait that it would be allowed if the camera made no more noise than what a Leica made.

If you can shut down the "noise" function that is built into the cameras that make it sound "good," then you could have a valid talking point.

The perfect camera is the one that when you pick it up,it will do what you want when you want to do it.
I have several both digital and film.
Each has its own purpose.

-

I have used an industral cleaner called ZOFF.
I just dampened a cloth and softly removed ball point pen ink from photographs.

Those who are not proficient in an art form become critics.

-

I can appreciate your situation and you did right in your decision.
When I go to something like that, I carry my "pocket" camera and no one notices.
It is 12 megapixels and with some post production work, I get useable results.

OK here.
Vista and IE9.
Old OS but it still works.

Simple.
No matter what the new innovations are, there is a small group of people that screw it up for the rest of us.

I use a solvent for cleaning black powder guns.
I can't remember the name as I am not at home.
You can buy it at a gun store.
If it cleans up and there is still metal left then flush it with water then use a dryer like alcohol to get rid of the water.
Good luck.
