It really, really works, which is quite something for a picture with nothing in focus. Bloody well done!

Nuno.
What an excellent picture, full of motion, drama and atmosphere. The light, pose, composition and moment all come together. Congratulations.

This one really stands out, though it does bring you one step closer to being a fine art nitwit. I really do wish, however, that you would have plucked out the flower bud in the upper portion. It detracts from the balance of the image and interferes with the overarching visual idea here.

Where can I hire this model???

Dennis.
This is outstanding, but I would like to see a little more in the upper part--there's some awkwardness in the way a few of the roof-tops have been cut off.

John.
You've gone for way too much in composing/framing this and the darkroom could use a bit of work too (these digital cameras make rather pedestrian pictures without some help with things like Photoshop "curves"). The attached picture illustrates what I mean.

Very clever and technically well executed. Nice bloody lens from the look of this.

I like this, but it's really too bad you've cut off his foot. A very good picture could have been an excellent one were it not for the awkward framing.

I don't typically like flower shots (even though I've got 1 good one of my own), but this one bends the rules and transcends the genre. The life and motion are incredible.

I'd rather things taken in the opposite direction. Perhaps even a fisheye lens? The builing is lifeless and sterile enough without being made straighter a flatter. If only you had to look at it several times a week like we do...

I just got home after an exhausting afternoon of shooting a model, saw this and hasd the impulse to go right back out and take more pictures! Certainly not the best photo I've ever seen, but very charming and enjoyable.

Holy smoke, I actually agree with Scott!
The concept is very good, but the execution is way off. Not necessarily a digital thing in this case, but your camera simply can not capture the finesse required for what you've intended.

This is excellent. I can't believe the low ratings.

Bert.
You should try the film camera for this one--the extra 3-dimensional quality (+ some bokeh) would help. I also don't think the black border adds anything here.

I spotted this pic on Photonet quite some time ago and it's one of the few I won't forget. As has been commented on several times, the light sweater in the foreground is a bit of a problem, but not beyond darkroom control. Does the guy look like Judd Hirsch to anyone else? I think Brian's reworking raises the image to the level it should be: up to a 9 from a "mere" 6 or 7, if you want to quanitify it according to our ridiculous rating system. The other little flaw that gets to me is the face behind the face of the principal figure/subject. Well done.

John Kohler (aka Carlos Ortez).
You are a disgrace to this site. What does it mean to you to invent personalities and recruit your friends to inflate your scores? You are a mediocre photographer and I suspect, deep down, you know that very well.

Wayne.
This is a good shot, but it would be even better as two separate pictures, IMO.
-
I think this would work better in B&W and more contrast.

Bill.
This would have been so much better if the people were wearing more intersting clothing. As such, there's bit too much of a "tourist snapshot" flavour about it. I would go back with a couple of models dressed in flowing white dresses.

I figured Photonetters would be eating this up, but you're not even averaging 7s here. It takes quite a bit for a nature shot to impress me, but this one does. It's very moody and verges on the abstract. I would, however, prefer a little more contrast, especially in the botom part, though you'd surely offend the shadow detail police with such a move.
