Gary S, Aguinaldo de P, Michael M, Garcia J, Bob D, Chris W, thanks for your inspiration.
Today was an exciting day, as my new D5100 was delivered, along with my new 70-300 lens!
Here's one of the very first pictures with that combination, of one of my favorite models,
and outdoors (for Matt). Imagine coming home, staring down the barrel of that bad boy!

My contribution is from a recent trip to the safari park. You can see these guys were just looking for trouble. Ok, they were looking for food pellets, but still, a bit intimidating...

My post is from a recent airshow in the next town. The Blue Angels were working the crowd before their turn in the air.

Ah, Spring (here), and Easter week (everywhere). It's a good time to have a Nikon in hand. Great shots, this week, including the ones from Matt L, Shun C, Tony H, Damon D, Elliot B, Rick D, Tim H, William P, Doug S.

For my post, I was aiming for the contrast between the gentleness of the tiny blossoms with the harshness of the prickly leaves, when a very pollen-laden bee insisted on adding further interest. I hope you enjoy.

It's a beautiful day in the Nikon neighborhood; I'm glad to be here. Some shots that make it particularly good are from John D, Tom H, Hamish G, Finlay J.

Mine is of our pink dogwood, whose color is now a bit more intense than it will be when the blooms are full.

Well, in a round about way, this is seasonal, in that it is wedding season, and every wedding seems to require the playing of "Marry You" and "Sexy and I Know It". Maybe that's better than the chicken dance and "Hokie Pokie".
