1.
Hello everybody,
I am using cs3 and trying to replace a wall color by another using the color replacement tool (brush), but the color I am picking is nothing like it when applied to the wall.
It is very pale and for example if I am picking a bluish/grey dark tone it will then translates as pale aqua..
I watched tutorials and read forums but there is no clear answer
The photo is coming straight from Lightroom (3.6), I am using Tif, space color RBG/16
Please let me know if you have any idea on how I can fix this and don't hesitate to ask if you need anymore information about my settings.

Thank you

 2.
Thank you Michael.
I generally use the 70-200 as well and never had any issue. I know it is not supposed to be 100% silent, but this one sounds a bit too loud to be able to take pics during a take..
I guess I'll have to do with it, but it is a pricy object..
Thanks for your help!

 3.
I recently bought a sound blimp for my Canon 5D MII and a lens tube for the 24-105 f4
Jacobson being the only one in America (he is in LA) and me being on NY, he shipped the whole thing, without me being able to look at anything.
Over the phone he told me the lens tube for the 24-105 is a bit 'tricky' but was good. When I received my package the lens tube is actually a 2 part thing and I can't zoom. Also because it is in 2 parts it seems to make a bit more noise than if it was a one part lens tube. I need to use it tomorrow on set and I am a bit worried, it is kind of useless if it is noisy and that i cant zoom..
Does anybody own this lens tube? any same comments or I am the only one? Is there anything to do to make it better?
Thanks for any advices/comments

 4.
Thank you for your precious informations.
Jeff you basically sold me the Noblex! I have other equipment to buy before but I'll save money to buy one
I am good with printing and processing, I'll do it at home, but just to be sure, because there is no really any reasons for it to change, but is there any difference with the way to process the film? I don't have a darkroom, but will scan the negatives. I normally use d76 or a TMax400 developer. Have you ever shot Efke films with the Noblex?
And to answer your question I am a unit photographer and think that the panoramic is amazing for set purpose. You can tell so many 'stories' in one single shot. I am also a 35mm addict so to do a panoramic picture on photoshop is not really my favorite thing to do!
And really as a camera lover I simply would love owning such a piece of mechanism, the panning lens is an amazing concept.
Great job for your crowdspotting blog, I really like the kind of abstraction your bringing to some of your shots

 5.
Thanks for your answers!
As a unit photographer I don't want one of my films to go bad! I guess I am a bit over anxious (and I should experiment more with personal films!)
I was actually making a new mix because my older one was made about 6 months ago and the temperature of the room is really not ideal, going from 68F to 81F
But what would actually happened if the mix is not good anymore? Will the desire effect will simply not work, or would it be altered?

 6.
I've recently discovered the Jeff Bridges' book, showing his on set stills, and they were all taken with a widelux
I felt in love with the concept and really want to buy one. I looked up on internet and I also found out about the Noblex camera and the Horizon camera.
The 'only' differences I read about are mostly about the shutter speed (more choices with Horizon)
Knowing about the fact that they all (maybe not the Noblex, I couldn't find a lot of informations about this one) can be used with 35mm or 120film, and my choice might be more towards the 35, what do you think about these 3 cameras?
Which one do you think is the most pleasant to use, or if you have simply comments on one of the cameras I will be happy to read about it
Sorry if it seems a bit confused, but basically I just want opinions and if anybody can share his knowledge i'll take it!
Thank you

 7.
Hello,
I just bought my developer (powder solution) and realized I have to much of it, so can I use half of it and keep the rest for another time?
As it is powder can I keep it even if the pack is open? It's for 3.8 liters, 1US gallon and I only need half of it
If I can keep it open what would be the best way to store it and how long will it be usable?

Thanks
8.
Hello,
I am looking for a studio with lights equipment to shoot some portraits some day next week in nyc or brooklyn, but schedule is pretty flexible
I'd like to know if anybody knows good tips to find a cheap studio, I can pay 100$ for 3 hours big maximum, and if it is for free (can still dream a bit!) i'll of course try to help in exchange for any photo/cinema project.
Any websites or advices are welcome
Thank you!
9.
Hello,
so here is my problem,
when I import my pictures in Lightroom Beta 3 they automatically get small retouches (Blacks are +5, Brightness +50 and Contrast +25)
when I open a picture in Develop it comes first the way I shot it, and after the message "Loading" appears, my photo has all those presets
Is there somewhere an option to uncheck, is it a current issue or is it simply the way Lightroom works?
Thank you
10.
Hello,
I am just starting to process my own films and bought equipment recently.
My question might seems useless, but I have a plastic multi-format reel, and can't find out how to change the format or to open it...
I have simply tried to pull of a bunch of different time but I am afraid to break it..Is there a simple way to do it, or might it be from the bad quality of my reel?
Thank you
Charlotte
