I just spend several days to build a lamp holder for my minox enla

rger model II,as the substitue of the rare & expensive minox enlarger bulb DR.G.FISCHER.

the seperate design for the holder with philips 5761 halogen bulb means that I will own unlimited

DR.G.FISCHERs BULB!because philips 5761 is very popular in the current market,and only about

$7,very cheaper than DR.G.FISCHER. philips 5761 is a 6v30w point-light halogen bulb ,and as the

same small filament as DR.G.FISCHER. on my minox enlarger it can make the same uniform light as

DR.G.FISCHER. so I needn't to worry about the bulb in my minox dark room...

<p>the counter should be set at 50 before you load a new film.you can push& pull the camera to set this position.<br>

for your 36 exp cartridge,it mean that is the end when the counter number shows 36.then push and pull 2 times(counter shows No.38),you can take the film out. </p>

<p>riga shutter system is very different from later model. they can't share any part each other. if repair riga you have to buy a riga or build parts yourself.</p>

thanks for your info,I has own several minox model riga, I,II,III enlarger,but still wish to own more riga enlargers, perhaps somebody has the same desire as mine. if rebuild, it will satisfy all the fans's wants.<br>

$300 is not a normal price for riga enlarger, the owner just met a lucky chance，this price $300 only appeared one time on ebay history.usually the price is from $1000-$2500 for a outfit in the past years on ebay,the problem is that you can't buy one though you could pay more money.it is so rare,I didn't see one on market ,especially latest years.I ever met one about 2007 on ebay, the price is $2000 for"buy it now",only one day later,it was sold.</p>

I am prefer to kodak imagelink FS(ASA80) and HQ(ASA20)+ ULC developer(of course nanospeed is also ok),I ever print 10x12inch photo from 8x11mm kodak imagelink FS negative on minox enlarger.<br>

afterward,I falled in love with minox 8x11,bought many minox cameras,and dark room equipments,I own all types of the minox enlargers:riga,model I,II,III.but still more like riga enlarger,want to have more,<br>

actually,I just wanna have several micro mini enlargers,I ever have aother dream that all of the photo equip，including camera,enlarger,developing tank,etc,can be putted in a small messtin,hoho<br>

perhaps one day, I would show a small minox enlarger(about 20cm)which I build.<br>

Yes,I also have a minox 110s camera,though it's OEM is balda.I also didn't see any other 16mm equipment made by minox.<br>

this head comes with itself only,no other parts,but I can try it at my other minox enlarger.<br>

I collect many minox equipments,nearly all of the minox accessories,inluding enlarger model I,II,III,but first time see this type enlarger.it is so obviously different with others,who made it? I can't get any files at internet,I think it is a big project to manufacture it : must should make punch mould for the head cover,and make new found mould for the head body,of course inlude the new lighter system desigh,new lamp and condense,the new lens desigh...,,so I don't believe minox fans or user made it,only the minox factory has thus high R&D and mannufacture ability.I don't know if my guess is correct,and need some infomation to prove it.</p>

<p>I have a minox enlarger head,but it is different with the all of the minox enlarger model II,III. I take some pics compare with model 2203,the differents is as follows :<br>

1）the enlarging lens is bigger than 2203,I guess it is about 25mm lens.<br>

2)the head was remade with a new mould.because<br>

(1)the lamp holder was redesigh with new type lighter,<br>

(2)the cover is new structure.<br>

(3)the lamp dia is a litter bigger than 2203,<br>

(4) no copy armer holder.<br>

3)the condense near the lamp was also redesighed,bigger than 2203<br>

4)the negative film carrier was modified by 8x11mm carrier.<br>

5)all of the head was a new type- green hammer finish.<br>

6)no serial number on the head.<br>

for all of above,I speculate it is a trial-produced 16mm enlarger by minox factory.who has more infomation about it?thanks</p><div></div>

<p>Hi Alan,<br />sodium dodecylbenzene sulphonate is just a impregnant & active agent,widely used in all of the cleaner ,such as soap.it also does the same function at this formula,making the developer more "closer" with the film,and develop equably.</p>
