Thank you, for your apreciation, Paweł & Grażyna , nice to meet you again !

This shot is taken at Santa Maria di Leuca ,a very particular palce

  1. I post here the version I've done after that Siegfried recommended to

me a slight rotation of the first version of Duomo I posted here

Thank you , Siegfried , you made me see that the attempt of correcting

the original image (wich isn't posted) by aligning to the vertical

axis of the left side of the middle section of the facade didn't

solved the problem (as I belived in the first moment)

Here it is a version with perspective correction , done in Gimp 2 . Do

you think it's better than the first? Is it good enough?

    Thanks , Teo

Thank you Oyvind ! the image was indeed PP to mimic an old look.

Siegfried : Thanks again for your critique . In the original PP ,if I remember well , I've just tried to align to the vertical axis somehow the 1/3 vertical axis of the photo . When I was shooting I was too close .

I have just produced a new perspective corrected version

  2. Hi, Siegfried!

The panorama stitching is a delicate technique that can produce spectacular results .This one is a good example , I'm convinced that a big size of this image is more impressive. I am not so good in this technique .

Here it is a link on this technique

The perspective correcting is a good tool in architecture photography ,mainly in indoor shootings , but there is a condition ,IMHO : the image must not look unnatural .Wich is not allways easy to achieve.

You managed to bring the image in a perfect look with the slight perspective adjustments you've done. I don't bother about the people in the right low corner .In fact they show the dimensions of the building.

    best regards, Teo

  3. Good lighting and colors.Intereting angle. IMHO ,the perspective correction is too...perfect , so the building looks a little unnatural to me.The left side and the right tower seem to lean towards the exterior to the eye used with the normal perspective ,especially using this angle. Of course , it's an optic illusion, they are perfectly vertical . And of course , it's a matter of taste maybe it's just me .If you allow , I'll post here an example of what I mean .I am very curious of the original photo .

Thank you ,Siegfried , for being so kind to look and comment . Yes , you are right ,in fact I would need to correct perspective in a software or a tilt-shift lens if I'd had one .Actually it was a humble Konica Hexanon 40/1.8 wich I love as low tele travel lens ,and you can see why .
