  8. Actually, Alf, i should say it could make a lovely watercolor; it's too delicate for an oil. but let me be clear, Alf, i would never compare your photography to any other medium ;-} You're an image maker, Alf, and foremost a great photographer. This doesn't need to be a painting. it is a great photograph with a most lovely texture. this could make a fine watercolor painting, but no medium could make it more exquisite than it is. You're a marvel, Alf ;-} dp

    Alert!

great distance you are from kittie to create an effective dof, Laurent. and the parallel grooved window and design on the table, the parallel between kittie's green/yellow eye and the flowers behind her/him, the copper color inner ear against the bonze colored wall... all colors contrasted with bw. a simple adorable portrait, not to be underestimated for its complex elements and composition. luv the black dot on the nose ;-} dp

like they have fallen from outer space onto a wonderful planet. they're tired; must have taken them light years to get there, lol. it's delightful, Wieslaw ;-} dp
  11. surely this is an oil painting, Alf! the dof, the detail, and the perspective are brilliant ;-} dp

so complex, so soft & sensual, so beautiful, Sveta. This may be my very favorite of your female pictures, and that is saying a lot! ;-} dp

    Sunday afternoon

you have such a lovely soul, Wouter, always in your work and in your comments. you engage yourself so unaffectedly, so effortlessly, so genuinely ;-} dp
  14. Lynne, those warm, antique colors and that beautifully designed clutter or closeness feels like a grandmother if ever i felt one. reminds me of my nana (she sowed her own curtains); and shed a tear of happy remembrance for the inexplicable bond between a girl and her grandma. you made my day! beautiful atmosphere.. the essence of cozy. ;-} dp

    Longing for summer!

Caramelle, oh lovely one. you smile so glamorously and Big!!! you'll be running free in the sea air soon! i have the same smile on my face for the same reason, sweet Caramelle! ;-} dp
  16. i luv this man's wallpaper, Vlad! great perspective, great soft fresh clean tone, great shave stuff, lol. great still! i'm glad we don't see any reflections in the mirror that might have cluttered the purity of the still ;-} dp
  17. this is so cool! she's very innovating! i've never seen somebody stretch on a window ledge before. brave woman! i'm completely baffled about the image on lower right corner, so i'm pretending it's another apartment, and she may be spying ;-} dp

    Cafe Life

luv it that the reflection beneath the front facing woman looks like a paper she might be reading. is that a reflection of your head in top center, Alex? doesn't matter, but rather adds to the colorful reflection play you've created for this picture. nice colors! and that expression! those gems don't come along everyday. she 's engrossed? daydreaming? which is swirling all those shadows and color specks around.. great capture, Alex! ;-} dp

    ...free...

greats tones and action, Tom; you're getting really good with tones, and making them realistic instead of washed out. this is a cool shot ;-} dp

another beautiful piece from your eyes, Daniel... such a lovely aesthetic you have. light seems to be touching all the right places in this still ;-} dp
  22. Hi Timothy, i'm so glad you put the shot in the perspective of the energy... can be overwhelming to a visitor to NY, lol.. thanks Tim Margaret... i'm glad you mention the bw. we can imagine the colors... it's ny after all. but the bw captures the intensity, i think.. Stephanie... you see poetry, you do.., like Sinatra, the romantic. always does, lol ;-} dp
