that is interesting.....I would love to give that nikkor 100mm macro vr lens a try....perhaps santa will bring it for me this year!  We shall see.

LOVE the contrasty light on the specimen, the branch also has such an interesting pattern in that light...and of course....the capture, the timing...amazing...

that will be a photo keep and cherish!  My daughter is at this point 4 months...I find myself now adays seeing pictures like this...or watching a movie and a daughter is getting married or graduating or something...I for some reason get tears... :D

Liminal events are few and far between....I think its ultra special to capture them in such fine detail as you have here.  Take Care!

wow, I am inspired....I have done so little landscape photography so far...in the next 2 years I want to start to attempt it more....

wow!  the light, the DOF, sharp detail - really wonderful!

I find it a lovely shot...you have isolated enough detail to keep my interested, and I like the bokeh - perhaps its just a tad busy though?  

why ISO 3200 and f22?  On the other hand, the grainy image is a bit unique and interesting...but I long to see the soft details of this wonderful lotus?  

wow, what a really interesting train...the bay window is particularly cool.  I like the processing...

what an odd device.....love the texture in the wood, and the lock itself...something is a tad missing...cant put my finger on it....my eye is not drawn to one particular aspect...but I like the photo

oh yes...very much like this one...exposure seems like it would be a difficult one...quite contrasty in those high key spots...you nailed it..with the couple in the bottom it makes it even more interesting!

Dude, having two now and both parents full time....it makes for long days!  But we have fun with the kiddos though...its just a challenge right now...did I mention I am tired?

I am just trying my hand in a bit of bird photography for the first time....this image is lovely! beautiful specimen captured here.

loved this bird, but the fencing was a bit far away and impossible to

eliminate....so I used it as a frame...how did I do?

huh....I guess I did not crop in much....boy that is refreshing...

come to think of it I had debated a crop closer in on the face...but decided against :)

also, im about to post a wide shot of the "exit" sign and some of these birds on it for comparison as well...look it up in this same folder if you wish...
