OOPS! ....I see a dead stork now.
-
I have nothing else but to support all the previous comments. Great wildlife photo.
...I don't see any stork though. It looks the bird in the foreground is an avocet and birds background are lesser flamingoes.

Do you work in a salon part time? :)
...Wonderful hair do! 7/5
Pat.

Very very rare photograph.
What is missing in this is a sunset behind ...just kidding.

Is it two pictures or one? The background appears as athough it was a cloudy day, bu there is lot of bright sun on the gull...
Very evoking picture.

A lot of people are talking of power of the engines. Well, jets are powerful, no doubt! But insignificant amount of power is needed to pull thropugh such weather conditions. A majority of the power is spent in nulling the gravity.
The picture is very well executed, sharp, well timed, very rare and definitely has a dramatic effect. I don't think anyone can take a better picture than this one in such conditions. A7/O7.

I don't know about this Swiss Rock band. If it is a popular band, you have captured a great moment of history of this band. Originality 7, Aesthetics 6. P

Wonderful effect! 7/7. I am curious to now how this was done. It looks it was set up. I guess it is possible to get such a blur with 1/500 shutter speed. ..The top of right wing is light greenish, where as left wing is brownish!?. Is it due to ambient light?

Wonderful picture! ....perhaps an appropriate tittle for your infrared series (or this kind of photography) is "INFRACOLOR".

Excellent panning. Great idea and execution. At 1/30 you managed really well to freeze the face; your hand must be rock solid....

Nice light. Wonderful rim effect. It looks the image is sharpened using Adobe Photoshop though. The grass and a very sharp hide look unnatural....

second crop

Great sand and boulders! I guess it could as well be two pictures (bottom half + top half), each standing on its own and yet complementing each other when combined. See two cropped versions below.

on second thoughts....I see that you were addressing specifically, Doug. So your manipulation makes sense now....

Marc, however, usually a courtship dance is performed by two cranes. your composition is interesting, but unnatural. Its not wildlife. Hope you saw a natural composition of many birds, POW of 22 Sep.

Wow! what a wonderful capture of nuptial ritual of Japanese Cranes. This is what it is, a courtship dance. Thanks!

How about cropping the foreground. I guess, it overshadows and makes the title less significant.

One of the best widlife photogrpahs I have ever seeen in the recent past. What an enthalling performance! What are they singing? An Opera?
Having said that I must say the fourth pelican on the left sits like a lazy duck. I guess, it could be removed using photoshop to make the picture better. Thanks. P.

very pleasing lines and color. She is standing on her toes. I guess this brought in great elegance to the pic and made this pic different from other such pics. Good imagination of the photogrpaher.

Oh no! don't shoot!

Great work, undoubtedly.
I was wondering how much photoshoping you have done for all your pictures. It is possible to get bright golden yellows early morning or evening. But misty greyish blues look unnatural.
Thanks,
Pat.
