1.
I just bought a 5d2 and experiencing a weird problem. When I look at the viewfinders metering, the bar that moves that looks like | is 1/3 slower from the same bar that you can see at the top right of the camera. The exposure itself is fine since I follow the one on the viewfinder but have you ever experienced this with your 5d2?

 2.
I love the expression of the couple! Although there are things I don't prefer like the cut dress and background which you could have blasted with bokeh but that just me. I assume you also shot multiple frames with different angles and cropped the view in camera right?

 3.
After reading the post "How to produce this look? Post processing? " thread by Otto Harring I kept wondering what is a good or great photograph at the eyes of different photographers? I know we have different opinions on what is good for us since beauty is in the eye of the beholder so if you dont mind, is it ok for you to post a photograph of yours that you find beautiful and pleasing? And can you please explain why do you find it beautiful? Is it because it has good composition, great background, good lighting, nice leading lines, candid, good post processing, no post processing, grainy/noisy image, etc etc? I hope you get my point.
Im just trying to understand what do you guys look for and maybe by looking at each others work we maybe able to learn a tiny bit of info from each other. Thanks!
(ill post an image when i get home)

 4.
and Aaron my file starts life at Adobe RGB. It used to be Prophoto but since sometimes i missed converting to sRgb and all messed up in the web i tried to make it a little safe with starting from Adobe RGB which i know still does not display 100% right in the web but its much accurate than sending a prophoto in the web.
OK now is there a way in photoshop to automatically create 3 files or 2? so one save would create and SRGB, ADOBE RGB and/or Prophoto

 5.
Ahh that sucks, i thought it still somehow preserves the Adobe RGB data in an embedded ICCed jpeg. the only reason I want to save in sRGB is because of those printer services that only accepts srgb and web so my clients can order prints fast and easy. I also know the printer has its own printing space which i soft proof against. i just notice it prints much much better in Adobe RGB compared to srgb in my printer at least so im thinking my clients may benefit from this.

 6.
Hi there,
I have a workflow which I save and embed (srgb icc) an sRGB jpeg in one folder and another Adobe RGB in another folder for my client to print at their inkjet printer if it can print Adobe RGB. My question is since I am embedding the ICC profile in my sRGB jpeg, if they open the file say in Photoshop then convert it to Adobe RGB then print will they still print the same quality as Adobe RGB without loosing any color data? I thought about this so i will be able to save some time in my workflow since i save two files meaning I will only save in one folder using an ICC embeded sRGB. IF they want to print a wider color gamut then they can convert to Adobe RGB then print.

Thanks for the help!

 7.
When I was learning this stuff I was using ProPhoto in LR and importing it in photoshop still in ProPhoto and didnt realize i was saving it in Prophoto in my jpegs but the web will NOT tolerate Prophoto so all the images i uploaded in the web where user's computers does not recognize Prophoto have BAD colorcasted images. The bad thing is i have save 100+ images this way so i have to resave them all.

 8.
I was second shooting for someone and never had the chance to take a good portrait of the bride so when the ceremony is done I went up to their room and noticed they are doing nothing and waiting for the reception introductions. I took a couple of candids and stole the bride and asked for a quick portrait. I let her seat and told to stare at the window. About the technicals only thing i remember is I used iso 200, f/4 and on cam fill flash pointing at the back, cant remember the shutter speed.
9.
Actually i can. I have a Canon MP560 and printing 4X6 photos using the Adobe RGB profile in 8 bit in photoshop, the problem is whenever i print there is this 3-5cm thick band in the photo with a different color cast on one of the edges. I tried printing in SRGB of the same photo just to test and compare and to my surprise the color casted band looks the same color as the SRGB print (Please note there is no problem printing in SRGB but Adobe RGB is SOO much better in print).

I have tried everything and experiment with different print setting but still cant remove the weird colorc asted band. I even installed the Adobe RGB 1998 from canon to no avail. Has anyone ever experienced this?
I know I can print in Adobe RGB because it prints alsmost 98% part of my photo but why not 100%?!
To those who have fixed this and found a solution. Thanks for the help!

 10.
I just don't get how I can offer $500 and below where my investment is much higher than that. I offer asuka books and all of my gadgets are pro caliber and i do strive to get the best photos and post processing of all the images i offer. ohh well, maybe i'll try what e. hughes said, go to bridal shows and market like crazy.

 11.
Hows your photography business doing with all these other photographer charging super low price. Here in the DC area looking at craigslist i see some photogs charging $500 below for an entire wedding package offering prints and everything with unlimited time. I feel like I'm undervaluing my self if ill deep to such a low price.
And where else or how do you guys advertise or market your business? Much help appreciated!

 12.
of course i know it should help focusing because that's what it suppose to do but thing is since i changed to this focusing screen my 5d's AF itself seems to focus a lot better specially in back-lighted subjects. maybe i am just imagining things. So is there a relation between the camera's AF and the focusing screen? please confirm if true.

 13.
William i am intrigued by your response. can you direct me to more information about the way you recompose. i am trying to digest the numbers that you suggested but having a hard time figuring out where its coming from

20 squared is 400 – three squared is 9 the square root of 409 is about 20¼ . . . ¼ of a foot is about three inches – you just need to know Pythagoras’s Theorem and do a little mental arithmetic: easy-peezy-japanese

so i assume 20 is how far away from the subject? then what is 3 and the other numbers?
