Watching the Pensacola Beach Mardi Gras parade in comfort; sofa,

grill, deinks, cell phone.......................

why would "Los Muertos" [dead ones] need a 16 oz soft drink???

Almost scary but in the right colors.................

patient, philosophical, family-oriented, docile, and indolent, the

chiguirre is the embodiment and "spirit-animal" of the inhabitants of

the llanos........................

simple, stark, Puritan, and ever present

This may have been a "snapshot" but it merits a closer look. The cashier's red hair nicely complements the red Coca Cola canopy. The 'sea' of green iron railings conveys that she is the one trapped in; hence a motorcycle for a quick getaway and a tin of Danish cookies for long term sustenance. I particularly like the piece of common weatherworn plywood amidst the ornate iron work. There is a lot on good composition in this image. Good work.

I have a personal 'peeve' at superfluous or redundant modern architectural embelisments that are nonsensical. Why waste two good aluminum 'gates' in order to enhance a simple cinder-block support? Why add a 'rough hewn' block to a smooth surface?

Just a personal comment or observation of no great significance.
