Understood, but she wanted to wear her shoes in bed. Who am I to say no. :)

Hopefully this one is better than the previous one. :)

Unbelievably beautiful image. One of my all time favorites. Wish I could learn from you.

Here is the one with the hands. It was a choice I made based on not liking the bra placement really, but I see the issue with the hands. I guess I will put this one in my portfolio out right, now that I take a more critical look at it. Hope you like it. Thank you so much for the input.

Hi Leora,
I understand what you said about using a slow shutter speed to get more ambient light in the background. Here is, basically, the original image before I screwed it up. ;)
This original image was what I envisioned when I first took picture and set my camera and flash. I was just trying for some more dramatic lighting and subdued the background.
So, do you think the background in the original is too subdued as well?

Thanks for the input Les. I couldn't decide between BW and color since I was just blown away with her vividly blue eyes and I wanted to show them, but didn't I didn't like the picture in color. I was messing around and to me the desaturation created a certain mood for me and I also got to show her beautiful eyes.
I do tend to agree about the bed issue, but not sure how to fix it. I think the fact that the sheets are still a bit tucked in closes it off a bit. Maybe if they were spilling over and there was no hard line between the gray base and the sheet it would work better with her very informal pose.
Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

Jerry, thanks so much for feedback. I think you are absolutely spot on, To be honest, I didn't even notice the blue cast until you mentioned it. I guess I have to be more observant. I think it is light from the window or a shadow caused by the angle of the remote bounce flash I had to her right.
As for the light in the top right, I considered removing it, but then I thought it added a "prop" to the picture. Maybe I was wrong.
With the line intersecting her head, I was left with the situation I was dealt. Again, I could have removed it, but I try not to get too crazy with PS. Maybe I could have taken an angle looking down on her and avoided that situation.
Thanks again for taking the time to give me your insights. They are very helpful.
