1.
I have a really difficult time with shoot in lighting when it's around noon or 1 with the sun overheard. I know you are supposed to use fill flash which I do, but for some reason, I cannot shoot in AV during that time. It always comes out overexposed because I'm using bounce flash at like -3. So whenever it's like that I switch to auto, and its kind of frustrating. Any advice? thank you!

 2.
Hello all,
Here is my first TTD photoshoot from last night. I only had the chance to upload a few pictures from the session but took over 450 images I still need to add. I had some issues with flash lol. Your CC is very much appreciate. Thank you :)

 3.
I'm doing my first official wedding in May and have the following equipment
-5D, 40D
-24-70 mm 2.8 L, 50mm 1.4, 28-135mm 3.5-5.5(new in box), EF-S 10-22mm, 100mm macro.
I just got the 5D and realize the 40D is like comparing Jack Nicholson to Heath Ledger as the Joker. Basically saying the 40D is pure garbage compared to the 5D.
So should I sell my 40D and 10-22 and 28-135mm?
But if I did that, I would be getting rid of my backup camera. But I need a 70-200, but I would also be getting rid of my wide angle. Anyone have advice? Oh what to do... :(

 4.
1. I would flip out if my assistant did that. And I would not use her again.

2. I wouldn't allow others to take photographs while I'm posing. But other than that, they can take pictures as they want.

3. I wouldn't expect anything out of a couple because it's THEIR wedding day. Maybe a trash the dress photoshoot would help you to get the pictures you need?

 5.
I am up front and honest with every client and it's been working very well. Brides don't have time to call up every photographer and ask and plead with them to give prices. They have more important things to do. I list all of my prices and I've been very successful with it so far.

 6.
hmm I disagree because I started shooting with the 40d and recently upgraded to a used 5d. I can tell you I will never go back to my 40d lol. The 5d is so much better!
Furthermore, I have seen people using the new 5d Mk2, and their pictures look awful because they don't know what they are doing. It's all about your knowledge of your equipment. Also, who wants to re-size a20 megapixel images.

 7.
where are you located? I would offer a position as a second photographer to someone in your area so they you have backup. Definitely shoot in raw so that you can edit the blown out highlights. Use fill flash but dim it down like 2 stops on your flash. Check your LCD as often as possible. Be confident and act like you know what you are doing, so guests will listen to your direction. And Good luck! :)

 8.
I guess what I'm not liking about my photos compared to JC is the skin coloring. But Pete I really think what you did make it looks so much better. If I can learn to do that, I will be happier with my photos. Thank you all on this thread for your help.
