that was a nice catch Steve, especially being out in the middle of the day...we have quite a few in the general area but i've yet to see or hear of one in our neighborhood.....hopefully i won't have to worry about our pets being outside

thanks for the view Steve......this is a church originally built by some of the first homesteaders in the area in the mid 1800's. it and a few other buildings from the era have been moved and restored at this site by the Olmsted Historical Society

yes it was and it was like 12F with a nice 20mph wind coming off the lake

it's really only accessible by boat or if the lake is frozen solid Gail......up close its in pretty shoddy condition and definitely needs some work

great capture of those clouds Jim.....i'm seeing the same thing as Jeff in the large image.......magenta noise blotches in the upper clouds and some minor blotching in the lower area
