another fall along the Great Lakes

was trying to get to the lake for sunset but i knew i wasn't going to make it so i stopped along the road for a few shots....an idiot convenience store clerk and traffic in Aspen dashed my hopes

yeah, first time there for me.....was planning on leaving around 10am but ended up staying til a little after 12.....even ended up stopping again for an overnighter on my way back to Denver

i could probably do a better job processing two of the RAW shots and then blending them or just use the sky from this one......:)

maybe a little Tony....this was a 3 shot HDR and i've included the straight jpeg sky exposure

nicely done B&W comp and i like that IR effect as well

one of my fav's from the day as well........they blew the whistle as it passed and i nearly crapped my pants it was so loud

it was a beautiful Saturday morning/early afternoon in Chama....what got me was there were a ton of people here with camera's and only myself and two other guy's went around the yard taking shots.....one of the guy's was a regular train chaser so i followed him up RT.17 to some of the viewpoints
