1.
I normaly use the 5d mkII. Today I rented a 1ds mkII because I need a "backup" camera for a upcoming shooting.
The problem is, when I zoom in on the camera display to 100% -all pictures are soft. When I load them on my pc they are very sharp! Do you know whats wrong with the camera?

  2.
I`m an architectural photographer, shooting mainly 4x5 inch film. For scanning I use an epson v750, I`m very pleased with the results. However, I would like to use my Bronica 6x6 for interior sometimes when I have to work faster. Does anyone use medium format film with a v750 for professional use? Is the quality good enough for most clients?

  3.
I`m an architectural photographer shooting mainly large format with a sinar f2.
I used nikon film and digital cameras some years ago- but never for serious architectural photography. Now I need a good dslr with shift lenses for some jobs. I´m not sure if I should buy a nikon d700 or the canon 5d markII . I don`t have lots of good nikon lenses. Otherwise I`m used to the nikon handling and menu navigation, and the nikons feels better in my hands than the canon cameras.
But what about image quality? Is there really a big difference between 21mp and 12mp?

  4.
thanks guys, @ michael axel: I mainly use 65mm and 90mm lenses with my sinar 4x5. I shoot interior and exterior.
It looks like it will cost a lot of money to get the same quality I get now with 4x5 film and an epson v750 scanner.
I think I`ll save up a bit and then go for the new nikon 24 ts. Otherwise the lens costs as much as my whole 4x5 equipment.

What lenses would you recommend? It is important for me that the lenses have as less distortion as possible. What about the old nikon manual focus lenses? I don`t need autofokus zoom lenses. But if the image quality is better (less distortion, sharper...) I would consider to buy some of these newer lenses. The new tilt shift lenses are a bit too expensive for me at the moment- (I`m a photo student).

  6.
thanks jim,
yes, darken the sky is my aim. I had a shooting with the filter yesterday. I used an efke 25 b/w film.
I opened the aperture 1 stop more- unfortunately i badly underexposed about 10 sheets. All shots without the filter are proper exposed.
So I will repeat the shooting tommorow. I think I`ll try 3 stops...
